This qualification is designed for those who wish to work or are already working in health and social care settings in England. Learners are required to successfully achieve 58 credits to achieve the qualification, with a minimum of 19 credits being attained in the optional units. At least 35 credits must be achieved at Level 3 or above. This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as they need to show competence in both knowledge and skills. Learners will be supported to find a placement within the care sector and will be required to complete a minimum of 150 hours. Learners will be assessed in placement and all modules will require learners to provide evidence of practical skills used in placement.
There are a huge number of job opportunities in the UK in the Health and Social Care industry. Successful completion of this course allows our students to seek sponsored employment in the UK and swap to a highly skilled worker visa.
